In the third week in February students and teachers from Italy, Portugal, Romanian and Turkey came to our school. The main topic of the whole week was „Water in art“. Every day there were prepared interesting activities concerning water sources and water in art – for example visit of water reservoir Švihov, Vodní dům („Water house“ – exhibition about water cycle and ecosystem), Třeboň (city in a pond area) or trip to ZOO Ohrada (which is build next to the pond Munický). On Thursday there were workshops held in our school. Students from each country presentated their projects about water in art in their countries. Every group had prepared a short performance about water – it was amazing and also very funny! Then all participated in art and music workshops. Thursday evening was spent at the prom.
Whole week was really interesting and we all learnt a lot not only about water in art, but also about different cultures. On Friday we said goodbye on a festive lunch and then, on Saturday, students left our homes and set off the journey back home.
